Childhood moves fast—one minute they’re taking their first steps, the next they’re running, laughing, and showing their personality in ways you never want to forget. As a professional children’s portrait photographer in the Bay Area, my goal is to preserve those real, unscripted moments with images that feel authentic, emotional, and timeless.
At Rossetti Photography, children’s sessions are designed to be relaxed, fun, and natural. I focus on capturing genuine expressions—whether it’s a quiet smile, playful laughter, or those in-between moments that parents love the most. These are the images that become part of your family’s story.
With over 17 years of experience, I use a blend of natural light and professional lighting techniques to create a polished, cinematic look while still keeping your child comfortable and free to be themselves. Sessions can take place outdoors during golden hour for that warm, glowing California light, or indoors for a clean, modern portrait style.
Each session is customized to your child’s personality. Whether it’s a playful outdoor adventure, a soft and airy portrait, or a more styled fine art look, I guide you through the entire process—from planning to final image selection.
After your session, you’ll receive a curated online gallery where you can choose your favorite images. I offer museum-quality prints, handcrafted albums, and digital collections so your child’s portraits don’t just live on your phone—but become artwork in your home.
If you’re looking for a children’s photographer in the Bay Area who creates images that feel both elevated and deeply personal, I’d love to work with you.
Welcome to my Children's Portraiture portfolio. Located in the central valley of California and close enough to the bay area. It is the best of both worlds. I am close enough to drive to the San Francisco bay area. When doing a children's portrait session I really try and get to know the child. I really want to be creative and unique. I only shoot outdoors with natural light for my children's portrait sessions. I feel like this gives the best color and natural look. I want to capture laughter, serious and funny looks. The best age to shoot these awesome unique, creative images is 3 years old and upward. I have tons of locations to choose from located in Ripon, Livermore, San Francisco, Danville, walnut creek and Fremont. Being a San Francisco Bay area children's photographer I have had the pleasure of working with a lot of different clients. Children are usually shy at first but with my experience I am able to get them to open up and get natural smiles. Children usually only last for about 20 minutes and then they are ready to play. Bribes work well (ice cream, toys, gum candy all works well to get to kids to cooperate)
