Vince and Samantha’s Engagement Session

Vince and Samantha met in Hawaii.  Vince is active duty in the military and Samantha is a Eye doctor.  Samantha is Canadian and Vince is from California. These two wanted to have their engagement session in Yosemite while they were visiting family over the holidays.  We were hoping for  a lot of snow in Yosemite during their engagement session but California did not start getting rain  and snow until after Christmas. We started their engagement session inside of the Majestic Hotel also known as the Ohwanhi Hotel.  After taking a few portraits inside of the beautiful hotel in Yosemite, we found this beautiful meadow with Half Dome showing.  Vince and Samantha wore military outfits for their first location.  These photos turned out amazing.  It was a cloudy overcast day which provided a lot of drama. I have photographed numerous weddings and engagement session in Yosemite.  The best time to have your engagement session is during the week.  Yosemite National park is less crowded and it see all these wonderful places with out any people in your photos.  Vince and Samantha are getting married in Banff in Canada this August.
