When ever I need a child model, or if I have a brilliant Idea in my head, I turn to my neice Chanelle. I started taking photos of her when she was almost 2 years old, she was shy and tough to photograph. Over the year or so that I have grown to love her she has become more camera friendly. She is still 3 years old so she doesnt like taking hour long photo sessions. I am always inspired by other photographers, and lisa hollaway is a photographer I am inspired by. I love her portraits of children. . Chanelle loves animals and she loves farm animals. So i wanted to take a childrens portrait using a farm animal. My parents live on a farm and have chickens so I asked chanelle if she would hold a chicken and let me take a photo of her. This is what I got.
